Location: Tyumen, Sovetskaya St., 102.
Date of construction: end of the 19th century.
Historical reference:
According to indirect information, the house belonged to Mariyanov, and at the beginning of the 20th century, it housed the parish school of the Znamenskaya church. The building continued to be used as an educational institution after the October Revolution.
Description:
Constructed with timber in a two-storey seven-ridge style, the house is distinguished by its large size, simplicity of composition, and uniqueness of decorative embellishments, which, by tradition, are concentrated in the window frames. Thanks to the large window sills that serve as panels, the ordinary windows look very slender, significantly elongated vertically, and constitute the main dominating element of the facades.
