Description:
A wooden, clad with shingles, one-storey urban-type building with a traditional facade composition notable for its distinct features of Art Nouveau. The latter is vividly expressed in the shape of large windows, the pattern of the crosspieces, and in the trim with an expressive figured silhouette formed by smooth, curved turns of the sides. The delicate linear-graphic carving covering the trim is also characteristic of Art Nouveau. A light airy cornice accentuates the eaves of the house.
The one-storey wooden building on a stone base features a complex shape and is covered by a four-pitched roof. The facades are clad with vertical slats and decorated with trim executed in the Art Nouveau style. The corners of the building are closed with pilasters. Architecturally and artistically, the house is a unique object for Tyumen, representative of the «Art Nouveau» style in the city’s wooden architecture. The building is valuable as part of the preserved estate ensemble (House of V. F. Averkiyev, Kamishinskaya St., 26).
