Located at: Tyumen, Sakko St., 39.
Date of construction: late 19th – early 20th century.
Historical background:
The building was restored in 2015-2016.
Description:
A two-story house with an open log structure is an example of wooden architecture. It is distinguished by the good quality of carpentry work, harmonious proportions of the facades, completed with a large, strong cornice. All the decoration is concentrated in the window frames. Their composition is formed by a figured lintel with curls of volutes, a wide window sill and turned vertical columns. Volumetric overlay carving in the form of stylized leaves, large rosettes decorates only the middle field and the side parts of the frame, clearly visible against the smooth background of the board. The side courtyard facades are notable for a three-part window, taken into a common frame.
The layout of the house has been changed. On the rear facade there is a wooden extension of a covered two-story porch with stairs and retreats. Together with the outbuilding at 41 Sakko Street it forms an estate.
